On Wednesday, August 31, 2016, Savii Care was upgraded to the latest version. This release includes increased service plan customization, a new bi-directional billing integration with QuickBooks Desktop, enhancements to the client detail screen with regards to care plans, Medicaid branding updates to the Billing Manager, a new quick start guide, and scheduling improvements, as well as several bug fixes.

Increased Service Plan Customization

You spoke. We heard. You can now create customized ADL task lists and IADL task lists, as well as enable only the service categories your agency needs. This will allow you to more effectively communicate to your caregivers exactly what you need them to accomplish during their visits with your clients based on state and/or agency standards, as well as improve your staff's workflow with regards to care assessments and documentation. See the following resources for more information:

New Bi-Directional Billing Integration with QuickBooks Desktop

You can now set up a direct connection between Savii Care and QuickBooks Desktop. This integration will allow your agency to send invoices from Savii Care to Quickbooks without the need for a CSV export file, as well as receive updates in the Billing Manager of Savii Care as payments are received and input into QuickBooks for those invoices. If your agency is interested in taking advantage of this integration, please contact your Savii Care Customer Success representative for more information.

(P.S. A QuickBooks Desktop payroll integration will be added into Savii Care in September.)

Enhancements to the Client Detail Screen with Regards to Client's Care Plans

When you click on the Client 360 tab and then a client's name, the most recent care plan that was created will now appear at the top of the list of care plans that have been created instead of at the bottom. Also, you'll be able to view just the 4 most recent care plans, or all the care plans that have ever been created for that client, should there be many. Simply, click:
  • the "Show All" button (to see all care plans)
                                        OR
  • the "Revert" button (to see only the 4 most recent care plans)

Updates to the Branding in Savii Care with Regards to Medicaid Billing

Since Trizetto bought out Gateway EDI, the "E-claims" tab within the Billing Manager of Savii Care will now show Trizetto's logo instead of of Gateway EDI's for the agencies that bill to Medicaid.

New Quick Start Guide for New Users

A 4-step quick start guide will now appear upon initial sign in to Savii Care when agencies set up their first Savii Care user. This guide will instruct them to set up their agency's work week, time zone, and visit types, as well as guide them to 4 support articles that will help them get started in Savii Care as an agency.

Increased Control with Scheduling in regards to Entering Start & End Times

You now have the ability to manually type in the start time and end times for a shift you're scheduling, if you choose to do so.
